Is this the worst story yet?

Some wealthy Manhattan moms have figured out a way to cut the long lines at Disney World — by hiring disabled people to pose as family members so they and their kids can jump to the front, The Post has learned.

We should be surprised by stories like this, but in the world as it is, nothing surprises me anymore..
Seems and feels so very wrong though.

Money gives you options.

I'm sure the guide appreciated the income.

Does it surprise me? No. Did I expect people done this? Yes. But it's still disgusting to use individuals in this way and 'hire' somebody because of a disability in order to help you skip lines. But it's on their conscience and I do wonder how they sleep.

Can't you see a benefit to the person with the disability? Whatever cut the get from the fee would be very welcome to them, I'm sure.

I can yeh But even if a person with a disability offered me that service, I'd feel dreadful and like I was 'taking advantage' if that makes sense?

I personally think its out of order, seems money really can buy you anything. I don't know who is worse, the disabled person lying and pretending to be part of a family or the person paying.

I think it's a despicable way to carry on by both parties colluding to it.

Thats terrible, it just makes things so much harder for those of us that need the GAC cards.
Its only a small minority that abuse the system but they hit the genuine ones hard, when they make rule changes.
They are missing so much theming by visiting the alternative entrances.
Sometimes it does save time but sometimes its so much longer. Wish some of those using this method would experience that too.
Im sure this will just add to the struggles of disabled people in the future.

Yea it does make sense, and although at first glance I find the story distasteful, I think the benefit of the income to the disabled individual is probably greater than the time savings to the person paying.
