Car insurance renewal
Stupid, stupid me forgot to check out quotes for car insurance and it's now renewed itself with our current company. Completely forgot about it! Anyway, found their renewal notice last night and their quote is ridiculous! Really want to change it, does anyone know if there is a set time period I can cancel it without incurring any charges? It's a good company but even if I apply as a new customer, I'm sure it would be miles cheaper!
Any advice gratefully received |

I'm sure that in the small print it says 14 days to cancel, you need to read it carefully.

This happened to us last year when my husband forgot to tell me that he had the renewal through so it cost us an extra £400. I got him to ring up and cancel and as it was within 14 days they cancelled for us with no penalty (this was Admiral) so read your T&Cs you might be OK.
