Hi Fiona we have also had to book flights like this in October but we are flying from LHR into LGW as our car will be at LHR. We are going to book a transfer there are companies that you can book in advance that will meet you at the airport gate.

Have you thought about hiring car on a oneway rental to gatwick
then do the same from heathrow might be a bit more money but it cuts out the hassle of parking.

My niece had to do this last year, flying from Gatwick but back into Heathrow.

As we live in Wales in worked out better for them to park at Heathrow, book a transfer (private car) that took them to Gatwick. This meant it was straight home from Heathrow.

Hi,

Can anyone who booked a private transfer recommend any companies?

We're flying from LHR and back to LGW in May. We're using the train to get to/from London (toooo far to drive from up here!), but are thinking of using a private transfer to get from LGW to Euston for our train home, as we know we'll be too tired/grouchy for the Gatwick Express.

Many thanks,
Anne
