They did what they set out to do, they disrupted the dinner and obtained the publicity they wished. Without violence.

They are allowed to protest. If they were not, forty members of Greenpeace would have been arrested and charged. No one from Greenpeace was arrested.



You may not like Greenpeace's tactics but it is not illegal.

Peaceful protest has changed the world for the better. Mahatma Gandhi proved peaceful protest was the only way to affect true change.

Greenpeace were wrong to enter the building, the protest should have taken place on public streets outside.

His reaction was acceptable given the circumstances.

I’m actually not a snowflake at all either before anyone accuses me. Look at the faces of the other diners in the room, they look completely shocked by his behaviour.

Mansion House was not open to the public, it was a private event so Greepeace had no right to protest in there. They should have carried out a legal protest outside

How do you know they were shocked by his behaviour ? Can you read their minds ? They could have been shocked at the protester and what that protester was intending to do

I would grab and lunge at someone who came behind me in that situation. I bet you wouldn’t be saying that about the London Bridge attack. It’s a split second decision. If she had acid or a knife he would be a hero now. Blame security for letting them in, not him.
