You may not like Greenpeace's tactics but it is not illegal.

Peaceful protest has changed the world for the better. Mahatma Gandhi proved peaceful protest was the only way to affect true change.

Mark Field was wrong.
His reaction was wrong.
His apology was wrong.
Greenpeace were wrong to enter the building, the protest should have taken place on public streets outside.

Mark Field was right.
His reaction was acceptable given the circumstances.
His apology was contrived to appease all the offended snowflakes.

No one on here knows what she was or wasn't going to do. So to say there was no intention of violence on her part is foolish .

His reaction was totally over the top. He could have verbally challenged her first, instead he just lunged and grabbed her around the neck. I’m actually not a snowflake at all either before anyone accuses me. Look at the faces of the other diners in the room, they look completely shocked by his behaviour.

Mansion House was not open to the public, it was a private event so Greepeace had no right to protest in there. They should have carried out a legal protest outside

And how would that have been effective?
Inside had a live television broadcast which higjlighted their cause beautifully.

Nope.
His reaction was wrong.
As a snowflake , I would have had respect for him if he could stick to one version of events.

How do you know they were shocked by his behaviour ? Can you read their minds ? They could have been shocked at the protester and what that protester was intending to do

Peaceful protest.

If Greenpeace were not permitted to be there, forty members would have been arrested.

I would grab and lunge at someone who came behind me in that situation. I bet you wouldn’t be saying that about the London Bridge attack. It’s a split second decision. If she had acid or a knife he would be a hero now. Blame security for letting them in, not him.

The entered without permission or invitation. Dress it up how you like, they should not have been there and had no right to barge into a private event
