I had the lowest fares in January for August 2 years in a row. I was tracking on Google flights from 11 months out and they were the lowest on 22/1 and came within £10 of that fare again on 16/3 and 27/4 - this is BA.

For internal flights I’ve been tracking and bought at 90 days out this year for August 31, they went back up but yesterday they fell to the lowest I’ve seen them, that’s about 60 days before.

I've done this itinerary twice and internal flights with Delta and Southwest. Both were good but Southwest were roughly half the price. Both times we had five nights in Anaheim as we spent a couple of days in LA and Santa Monica. Three nights is more than enough to do Disney.

My current concern regarding next August is that last week they have announced a Star Wars Expo going on at DL.

Originally it was the fear of the D23 Expo.

The Star Wars one is 27th - 29th I think but even with us planning on being there mid-August hotel prices might still be at a high.

5 nights booked at Grand Legacy for mid-October 2020 - £667 for the 3 of us which I didn’t think was bad.

£1030 for Universal’s Royal Pacific for 5 nights after. Might even sneak a trip into Horror Nights 😁
