Disney springs is very adult now , high end shopping , lots of bars and restaurants . It has entertainment but I wouldn’t say it’s aimed at kids . If you are going to celebration you have to go early enough as it gets very busy.

Celebration are really cracking down on non residents now and in the past people were queuing to go to peoples houses! We tried it one year and wasn’t for us so we stick with boardwalk now

Attended Mickeys not so scary Halloween party twice when daughter was 7 and then 10. Not scary but so much fun. And lots of candy stops for kids. Great parade. So many amazing costumes worn by guests. All the ‘villains’ are out - it’s brilliant. We loved it as much as our daughter and the trip back across the lake in ferry late on was just memorable. Definitely worth it!

As Celebration isn't a gated community I am wondering how they are "cracking down" on non residents? Do you mean they have made parking more difficult? I haven't been the last 2 years and agree the traffic situation gets insane but an early visit with young children should still be fine.
