Beach Club - interconnecting Doors!

Checked in yesterday and happy with the room - apart from the noise that comes through the interconnecting door! The soundproofing is non existent and thank goodness I don’t speak Spanish as I can hear every word as well as the very squealy child!
If you do go, request a room without interconnecting doors. I’m hoping they are only hear for a few days otherwise I may be moving myself!

We had this issue when we stayed at the Boardwalk and an American family arrived in the middle of the night and let their kids make loads of noise. I usually try to ask for no connecting door now.

Open your side of the door and put in some rolled up towels from the pool , works wonders , you can tell I have had the same issue 🙄

Oooh - great tip! Interconnecting doors are our pet hate.

Ask to move! We did when this happened to us with an American couple who came home drunk at 12.30 every night and had a screaming match (you’re in Disney world people! ). The hotel were amazing and moved us without fuss. I was reluctant as we’d unpacked and everything but honestly it was sooo worth it!

We had neighbours like that too however it all calmed down after a few hours. Tempers get frayed when people don’t plan efficiently and pencil in some down time for everyone and the “locals” are often the worst culprits for having a domestic dispute from time to time. We did the wedging towels under the door thing and turned up our tv. Most arguments seem to be about where they plan to go or where they want to eat or what they don’t want to do instead of making plans they can agree on. If all else fails ask to change rooms or ask them to send someone up to have a quiet word with them about the noise nuisance. Oh and buy some earplugs👍 Don’t let it spoil your vacation.

We had this issue at BC and rang to reception. They got a warning but it didn’t deter them- if anything it spurred them on. So they offered us a change of room instead!
