Unlinking Magic Bands?
Is it possible to unlink our Magic Bands from our daughter’s account (we went on holiday with them last year) and link them with our son’s account. I’d like to add that they are season long passes?

They Cannot be re-assigned. You'll just have to get another band for your son.

Ah, i get what you are saying now (I think)
I'm assuming that you don't have your own MDE account then. You would have been definitely better off with one. But as I said, once bands are assigned to mde accounts, that's where they stay.

Just get your son to add you as family on his, any issues call the helpline they can move you from one family to another.

I have had passes de-linked before but you have to contact the support desk - its not something that I could do myself.

You cannot unlink MagicBands from one person and then link them to another person yourself. Disney may be able to do this for you, but you can't do it.
Also, just thought I'd point out that according to Disney's rules MagicBands are non-transferable (like tickets): disneyworld.disney.go/en...ing-to-friend/

It's just that you can't unlink MagicBands. Note that MagicBands do not store anything and are not the same thing as tickets. If you want to be able to book fastpasses for everyone then everyone just needs tickets/passes, not MagicBands.
