Seeing Dolphins but not Little Toot etc

We have a "free" day on Thursday and originally were going to drive to Clearwater and book Little Toot or Skyscreamer. However I remember reading about a place you could go near Clearwater to watch them but have searched and cannot find the post. Does anyone know where we can go for a day trip and hopefully see them in the wild without going on a tourist boat. Thanks in advance 😄

St Johns Pass boardwalk by the bridge and at the end of the Rod and Reel Pier on AMI.

St Johns Pass bridge - especially around sunset.

St Johns Pass around the bridge or Fort de Soto Park, just come back and there were dolphins near the fishing pier we even saw a manatee near the fort!

Pier 60 Clearwater ... they swim all around here at various times of the day, plus you might catch a few manatees.
Also the sand bar in Opal sands, you can sit and have a drink whilst watching the dolphins swim just below!
