Mobile Leaving magic kingdom after fireworks

As title says

What is the best way to leave MK after the fireworks.

In June we waited more than 30mins after it ended taking photos and going toilet (littlest had a massive meltdown so that took some time)

We then went out and the monorail was packed and cast members said boat. We waited an hour in said boat queue.

It was the worst thing trying to leave that park. We are going back in May and we love the fireworks so want to go back but need to find a better way. Even if it means parking at a different park etc and getting a bus so long as it don’t take this amount of time.

Any ideas

Watch them near the Main Street train station and leave as soon as they finish or watch them from the contemporary. Or hang around the park for longer. I think no matter the mode of transport though, you will have to wait.

If staying off-site with a car and staying for the fireworks we pay extra to valet park at the Contemporary. Then just walk back to there and drive out, much quicker.

Otherwise do similar walk to left but catch the bus back to TTC. Can't remember number at mo, will go ask DH who has a functioning memory...

😁. It's normally stop 27 or 28.

I didn’t think you could park at resorts you weren’t staying at unless you were dining there?

We always stay after the fireworks and if the park is open later than them we do some more rides.

You could walk over to the contemporary and go to the contempo cafe for a snack then catch the monorail there to the ttc.

We try and watch in Main Street adjacent to a door leading into the Emporium so when the fireworks finish walk quickly through the Emporium out the bottom door so ahead of the crowd.

I thought you need reservations to park at the hotels?

We usually walk back to Contemporary, have a look in the shop and jump on the resort monorail. Not necessarily quicker but def more peaceful and less stressful!

Assuming you have a car parked at the TTC, go left to the buses when coming out of the park instead of joining the long queues for either the boat or the monorail. We did this last year and the bus was practically empty. We were back at the TTC in something like 7 or 8 minutes from leaving the park. Bus stop 27 or 28, sorry can't quite remember. This is, hands down, the very best tip I've ever been given on here... happy to pass it on.
