Since DD moved into her own home we have started meeting on a Saturday for a Carvery so tend to not bother with a roast on Sunday. Today we had cottage pie 😋 .We tend to do a mid week roast twice a month when everyone comes round .

We still have a roast very sunday. If we are out for any reason we tend to have the roast on a Monday instead.

I do one most weeks. I'll cook a big joint or chicken and then have leftovers for Monday!

You can take the girl out of UK but you can't take the UK out of the girl.
Always have Sunday roast. Very often with our own home grown meat 😋 |

My 80 year old mum cooks a roast every Sunday, 2 meats, roast and mashed potatoes plus 8 types of veg. She prepares in on Saturday night while watching tv. It’s normally myself, sister, dd and her bf, oh, 2 great nieces and her foster daughter (long story)
We don’t all sit and eat together, just help ourselves when we go round. I will sometimes invite a friend over if we have gone walking and if our friend (in the same street) goes away she take one over for her husband. My mum is amazing and I really appreciate it. |

We don't in the summer, it's too hot and both are working all day.
In the winter we have one pretty much every Sunday.
