I'm flying exactly the same dates! If you wait a couple of days they should hopefully drop down again. Also went to book with Opodo, added card details, the page did a spinny "loading" dance and then it come up saying your prices have increased £2000 ish - do you want to proceed? No way! Hopefully Virgin will settle down. BA seem really high at the moment too good luck

Going exactly the same dates. Paid £1350 in oct 2017for 2ad 2ch Edinburgh-gatwick-mco flying sept 2018 but prices for next year are mad. Waiting game begins...

For last months flights we paid £1700 in November last year for 2 adults Gat - Mco (PE) with BA. Today the same flights are £1990 so not a huge increase (about at our limit though) but we'd always rather go VA from Manchester so that's what we're waiting to see ...

Just got London Gatwick - MCO return for £570 (11-23 September) with Virgin. Well chuffed, BA was £100 more. Norwegian was cheaper but I'm still concerned about them...

Still waiting to re-book our flights, since we lost our TC ones.

26/9-12/10. MAN-MCO. Virgin at flittering between £730-900+ pp direct. Still ridiculous. I've said I'll book once it gets under £600pp.

At the moment, I could get indirect on the way out and direct on the way home in budget, but I'd rather wait a little while.

Gatwick is under £550 pp, which is a price I'd be more than happy with from Manchester. However with 12 people, and a 7-8 hour journey from Anglesey (it's already 2.5-3 hours to Manchester which is a killer on the way home) it's just not feasible. I really wish Manchester had more direct competition on these flights!
