Mobile On site DDP what's for breakfast.

When not using a DDP credit for breakfast I was going to bring my kids cereal and buy milk (from somewhere). We are staying at AKL.

Theres a fridge right?

What else do you lot do for breakfast when on DDP.

cheers all.

Pastries. Donuts. Cereal. Bagels.

We tend to have a small breakfast and then a coffee and a snack in the park. Can’t beat a cinnamon roll.

same here - most of these are available for snack credits as are fruit pots & yougart/granola pots

I do a small grocery shop for things we can not get onsite(or are a lot cheaper offsite) but most of our eats while onsite are covered by the dining plan

My OH and I shared one QS credit on Breakfast last year. So he would get the bounty platter or the breakfast burger, and then i would get a bagel as the snack/drink substitute as we had our mugs with the plan. It worked really well this way, and we would then share a QS again at lunch and maybe use a couple of snacks throughout the day.

I would have thought that you can also do this with kids, as the portions are massive, i think you could easily make 1 QS go round 3 people if needed!

I'm curious about making a blanket statement of not using a DDP credit for breakfast. Breakfast buffets can be a good use of a credit as you can fill up and then don't need to eat a meal again until dinner (can use a snack credit for an ice cream). Otherwise, a lot of snacks work well as a breakfast. Or share one QS meal between two for breakfast and then do the same for lunch or dinner. There really is no need to be rigid about using credits in a certain way, or doing the same thing each day.

We normally make a trip to Walmart and get muffins and/or pastries. Then we have second breakfast in the parks. If you want to exclusively use DDP you can use snack credits for pastries etc, QS credits for breakfasts or have TS breakfasts. If the resort allows substitution of drinks for a snack we often get a breakfast item with dinner.

Either TS character breakfast, or snack credits for bagels, cereal, parfait etc.

If we use QS credit at a resort, we pick up one of these instead of getting a drink (use refillable mug)

Or we use 1 QS credit to get 3 items.

If we have BOG breakfast on QS we will not have another meal until dinner that evening and have a snack in the day

Most of the food court pastries will be a snack credit. The food court will sell boxes of cereal and milk if you want that for your room. Pieces of fruit and fruit cups are generally a snack credit too. In our family; DH has two cups of coffee in the room, DD has a pint of milk; I have a lot of tea and an Alpen Light cereal bar brought from home which is what I have every day at home as well. DD and DH will then be using a snack credit mid morning at a park. I don’t like the Disney QS cooked breakfasts. If we have a character breakfast we are all done until dinner time!
