Upgrading to Seaworld AP

Hi all

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted to know in the search. We are planning on buying one day Seaworld tickets, but are planning on heading back to Florida early next year and were wondering if anyone had any luck upgrading their one days tickets to Annual passes, and if so, how much extra did they have to pay?
Any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks Dibbers!

We thought about this but ended up just buying them outright before we went.

They have some offer when you buy the tickets, the silver pass usually comes with 1 free ticket, but for now it is 2. So depending on how many visits you are doing you might not all need an AP. E.g. if there are 4 of you, buy 3 silver passes, that is 6 free tickets so the 4th person uses them each time if you are doing less than 6 visits.

Plus, i don't know if they do it the whole year but there were freebies for AP holders - every AP holder got another free guest ticket to use in August. Every AP holdr got a free meal at Aquatica. And some others as well.

So i would suggest having a look and maybe buying before you go.

Though note the AP starts from purchase date, not first use.

We just purchased gold annual passes a week before we went. Depending on the annual pass you purchase parking is included and also we got 2 free passes each as well which was ideal when we went out with our family earlier in the year. As the 3 adults with us got in for free. We also got 6 passes with 50% off each which we used on another holiday, discounts on food, a free animal encounter as well as well as entry to Aquatica.
You do need to look at when the free passes can be used as if I remember rightly we had to use ours in the first week we were there as there were blackout dates when they couldn't be used.
There are also monthly offers so for the Craft Beer festival you can purchase the sampling lanyards at a discounted price.

Thanks all. We went with the Ebookers/Expedia deal on the one day tickets as we wanted the all day dining for free, and we will see about upgrading to AP when we get there.
Thanks again!
