Halloween

Good Evening,

We are off to Disney on 25th October to celebrate my 50th but we will also be there for Halloween. We will be there with my youngest son 7 and daughter 4.

Can anyone give any good suggestions for Halloween itself or perhaps share past experiences to give me some ideas.

Last time I was there at Halloween, for my 40th, they were not on the scene but would love to make it as special as possible for them.

Thanks

Pete

MNSSHP was brilliant. We all went in fancy dress. It was fun getting ready. Age range from 9 to 69. We had a great night meeting characters not normally seen in the parks. The Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, the Seven Dwarfs, Maleficent, and we got loads of sweets. The fireworks halloween show was great.

Thank you for those quick responses. Will MNSSHP be too scary for 7 and 4?

No, it’s really aimed at kids collecting sweets , a fabulous parade and wonderful fireworks , the costumes of people attending are fabulous and they really go all out . My kids always talk about mnsshp . We go again on the 1st Nov , 4th visit . It’s expensive but a fabulous evening .

I’ve taken my 2.5 year old. This time my girls will be 3 and 6 and I’m confident they’ll love it, not scary at all x

I wouldn’t recommend MNSSHP with children of that age. We took our children when they were that age and our 4yo only made an hour or so before falling asleep and our 7yo was so tired we left after the fireworks at about 10.30. It’s a lot of money for not a lot of additional benefit. However, I did think it was really good, so you may decide it’s worth it with those provisos. We also had a late start/lazy day the next day so that we could take it easy and not get over tired.

Thanks again for helpful comments. There are 5 of us in the party and it is a significant amount of money to spend with the risk of tiredness setting in. I wouldn't want the little ones to feel pressured to stay awake until late in the evening. I am sure it is a great experience and worth the money but something for another visit I think. Are there events going on in Disney Springs. If I recall from my visit 10 years ago there seemed to be stuff going on at downtown disney.

We go to Disney boardwalk, they have trick and treating, games, characters and a dj. We’ve been for last 5 years and our 5 year old loves it. Best of all it’s all free
