Restaurants in naples new years
We are in naples for new year and was wondering if anyone had any ideas where to eat thats not too fancy.Even the tommy bahama menu my husband won't eat it.Are there places you can just walk into on the night either before the fireworks or after. If the weathers ok we were thinking of taking a cool box with food etc to the beach and do that instead

We really like Yabba. However, I think that that time of year is their peak time so I am unsure as to whether you could just walk in?

As above, many snowbirds start to travel down after Christmas to Florida; the Gulf Coast being massively affected by this.
The high season runs from Christmas-Easter with Feb & Mar being the absolute peak season. I’ve heard that during this time, reservations are a must for eating out; unlike the low season (Jun-Sept) when they’re deserted & are all walk-ups. Anywhere in & around the 5th Ave & 3rd St areas are likely to be very busy; Naples is an extremely affluent area & tends to attract snowbirds/2nd home owners of that ilk & these areas are their stomping grounds to see & be seen; don’t be surprised to see Bentleys & Rolls Royce’s cruising 5th Ave! The Village Pub located at The Village Shops on Venetian Bay , isn't fancy but you might still have to book at that time of year. We have managed to walk in early December.

We went to the Beach Club last New years Eve, we had to book and it was expensive but lovely. I think you’ll need to book almost everywhere. Bistro 821 on Fifth is lovely.

As an aside the fireworks in Naples on the beach are at about 7pm not midnight. We took nibbles and beer to the beach then to the restaurant to eat

I second the suggestion for the village pub at Venetian village. We’ve eaten there a couple of times and the food is lovely in a great setting. Lots of choices and nothing too fancy. I’d suggest you book though as it’s bound to be popular.

If not wanting anything too fancy you have either Brookes burgers(our fave) or Sheas bar and grill but can see everywhere being busy that night!
