Global Entry - Interview Process?

**UPDATE**

We finally got approval a couple of weeks ago. Took 6 months in the end. Flying into MCO next month, what can I expect to happen? Do we queue in the normal line or ask upon arrival and get taken somewhere to do the interview?

Thanks!

For those of you who have GE, how long did it take from applying to getting approval? We applied in mid-June and it's not even got to the TSA part yet. It does say on their website about there being delays but this seems to be taking forever.

How long did it take for you to get approval? Thanks

We applied in late May and still haven’t heard anything back to arrange our interview.

I just got conditionally approved for interview. That took 20 weeks. My husband applied on the same day and has still not been conditionally approved. There are no appointments for interview in my area right now so not sure how much longer it will take.

Wow it has really slowed down.

I lost a few weeks when we applied by allowing the Xmas period to pass.

17th Dec 17 Applied to HO
19th Dec 17 Approved
12th Jan 18 Applied to CBP
18th Jan 18 Approved to move forward to interview

Could have had the interview the following week

4th March 18 Interview by MCO IO on arrival

Applied January 2019. Approval interview offered in May. Although across in the states in May, we didn’t have chance to have the interview until August (when we were instantly approved).

Hi Tom, guessing a high volume of applicants is causing such long delays, may explain why it also takes months if waiting for a waiver for visa.

Does the GE website continue to state GE denial results in one being ineligible for ESTA?
