I drink a lot of wine but I make my own so it's about 50p a bottle Edited at 11:24 AM. |

4 adults and a 14 month old so we have a tin of formula a week plus nappies and we spend on average £120 a week , that does include pack ups for 2 adults which when buying good quality ham isn’t cheap
I could do it cheaper if I went to Lidl/ Aldi but I can’t be bothered if I’m honest . |

My mum and food prep every Sunday, SW recipes.
We spend around £40 for the two of us per week. Breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. Online shop from Tesco. Majority fresh food, occasionally some frozen veg. |

I reckon we spend £100 a week including top up shops and and beer it wine we might have.
That’s for 2 adults and a 15 year old who eats for England. We make most things but we do sometimes buy pre prepared food if we’re busy.

We spend between 70-80 for a food shop delivery then a top up in the week of at least £10. We also go to Costco once a month and spend 60-80 then eating out/take aways on top. We also buy pet food separately as they eat royal canin, this averages out to about £15 per week. Then there is takeaways and eating out on top. I guess all together we must spend £130-140 per week, that’s for 3 adults, a dog and 4 cats.

Since I posted on this thread, I've kept a weekly list of what we've spent for 2 adults (4 weeks) - we changed to Aldi for the 'weekly shop' though still went to Tesco and local shops for other bits.
It includes household cleaning stuff, but doesn't include wine, Christmas extras or eating / drinking out. We mostly buy chicken breasts, fish, 5% beef mince and had steak twice. All fruit and veg was fresh, and some organic. I rarely buy processed food/ packaged meals etc. We eat well and once a week I cook for 4 people. Total cost for the 4 weeks = £216.39 so the weekly average was £54.09. What a saving, and we honestly haven't noticed any difference in food quality at all!

So how much are you saving each month 🤔I couldn’t find your post where you stated it 🙊it just shows if you want to save money you can 🙌I’m lucky that I can go Tesco Asda or Sainsburys also have Aldi 10 min walk away, I go on My Supermarket to see who has an item on offer & then I will go there, usually incorporate a walk from home or cycle to Asda 12 mile round trip, take rucksack so can’t buy too much 🤣🤣🤣💰💰💰keep fit & save money 💪💪
