I’ve been reading loads of DIBB reports for the last few months, and decided to give it a go. I hope it’s as good as the ones I have read.

CAST
Me – Martin (43)...fell in love with Orlando in 1992


DW – Andrea (41)…doesn’t want to discuss it until paid for!


DD – Krissy (17)…forced to love it in 2003


DS – Craig (15)…free-loader


Whilst in the plane, on our return journey to Manchester, in 2003, I turned to my kids. I asked them what they remembered most about our exhaustive holiday. Was it meeting Mickey & friends, riding the Tower of Terror, meeting Shamu?



No! The hotel had a swimming pool!

So I decided we’ll come back after 10 years of saving, doing camping holidays and beach day trips.
We initially planned to go in April 2013. After some financial manipulation, and an ‘off-chance’ visit to the travel agent, we may be able to try for October 2012. We’ve stayed in Kissimmee so it was suggested International Drive. Plus, our ‘kids’ may get more thrill out of the “Universal” attractions.

PLAN
2 hour Drive to Manchester and fly to Sanford.
Hire Dollar car and drive to the Enclave Suites.
A day in the Pool or Shopping (that’ll please DW).
Every other day a Theme park



This is not written in stone. It's under regular improvement, as I get more experiences from other Trip Reports.

Fab start I love it more when I was older, so fingers cross the kids will love it this time around. Every other day at a theme park seems good, easy going and hopefully you'll please every one x

BTW
I've bought an annual travel insurance policy,
Got 4 ESTA's - successfully,
Reserved a fortnights parking at Manchester T1 Meet & Greet,
Paid a deposit with US Rent A Car (Dollar 4 door - Ford Fusion)

When I pay the balance for the holiday, I'll buy four 3-park Universal tickets. Plus I'll load our two CaxtonFX cards - to pay for all meals.
