Christmas 2020
Hi everyone. Looking to visit DLP next Christmas. Hopefully be there for Christmas day.
Do the parks operate as normal on Christmas day? Am I a little early to be booking just now? Where's the best places to book? Do they have fastpasses in DLP? Whats the dining plan like? Thanks

The parks will be open as usual on Christmas Day, you can book for Christmas 2020 now, at the moment there is an offer of 20% off, free dining and €100 gift card. It is worth checking other countries versions of the website too, to see who has the best prices for your dates/hotel choice.
Fastpass is the paper version at DLP, so you collect your return time at the machines near the ride entrances. The dining plan will usually be half board (when included free, but check as it depends on the hotel) - this will give you a buffet breakfast at the hotel and then one other meal per night (which you can use for lunch or dinner). Be aware that you cannot use your plan credits for dinner on Christmas Eve. In France they generally have the big Christmas meal on Christmas Eve, and so the restaurants have different menus/prices for these meals which aren't covered by the dining plan. Hope that helps. |

I suspect you would prefer to fly due to the distance involved.
It is usually cheaper to book your travel separately to the Disney side of things. Disney do offer transport inclusive packages but they are often more expensive that doing it yourself. For the Disney Hotel etc check disneylandparis.co.uk (you can then change the language at the top right to see the other countries versions, as they all have different offers. Generally it is worth checking the Irish, French and Dutch ones). Also price up disneyholidays.co.uk and magicbreaks.co.uk to see if they work out cheapest, which they sometimes do. In terms of flights you will want probably come into CDG airport, there are various options for getting to Disney from there, but a private shuttle is worth looking at, it is around 40mins door to door and can work out cheaper than the train/bus options. RS Transports are a good option for this. |

And I actually like the idea of coach travel. Longer yeah, but I like the idea of getting on and then getting off, rather than transfers etc.
Wonder why Disney don't do a Magical Express? Anyone have any experience with coach travel from Scotland?
