What ticketed events to expect?
Hi All
Ive bit the bullet and booked for August 2020. We are going to be at CBR for 14 nights arriving the 6th August (Although date could change slightly with flight release) Am then moving over to Hard Rock at Universal for 5 nights. It's just me and my 11 year old son and this is his first trip to Disney world after catching the bug after a couple of Disneyland Paris trips. Am just starting to get into the planning stage (who am i kidding, have been snooping on her for months ) and am wondering about what sort of ticketed events would be there around out dates, for example would MNSSHP have started by then as would love to be able to go - Who doesn't love Halloween and candy Ive been looking at the events for this year to get an idea, do dates generally stay the same from one year to the next? Im guessing with GE there will be other events added in over the next few months (God help me, my little one is already planning on spending the equivalent of a national debt on building droids, pets etc) Any help , info or tips would be appreciated 'oh fountain of disney knowledge' |

The only thing I can think of is MNSSHP which starts right at the end of August, so you might miss it, other then that I’m not sure 🤔
Others may know of events though |

I think you will be too early for MNSSHP. There could be some After Dark events, these are good, cost $125 per person this year.

I'd look at the Typhoon Lagoon H20 Glow event, we really enjoyed that last year

I'd recommend early morning magic at MK. We did it on our first morning and it was fab. Tends to run on Sunday and Tuesday mornings. We are planning on doing it again next August and possibly the Toystory one too if it's still offered. I'm waiting to see what is offered for GE though, but I suspect any of those events will be twice the price!

I only knew as we’d been discussing an October v December trip, so I’d spotted the dates for mnsshp and mvmcp! We went for December in the end.
