We used them for our cruise last month and they were fine, never had a problem getting in touch so it could just be they are busier than normal.

The only issue I had is the guy who we booked with put my middle name down as Keith instead of Kate which was actually just funny. I don't think English was his first language. Quickly solved by calling back.

With regards to drinks package, our daughters didn't show when we booked direct with celebrity, I didn't even think anything of it at first as I had it confirmed when I booked. It still didn't show when we boarded but was easily sorted when we got onboard by going to guest services, took all of 5 mins.

Were going from Southampton, I might ask them again about the OBC. Between us were paying well over £30.000! missed the extra credit by hours! probably silly to some people, but im annoyed about it!

Becky, just another thought, if you intend to use your obc for excursions it’s an idea to think about it now while the exchange rate is low, once you can get into your celebrity account you’ll see your obc converted to ££ and you can choose your excursions and use your obc to pay, one of the few instances where the rubbish exchange rate goes in our favour x

I have just logged into Celebrity and noticed I could book things directly with them, which I was shocked about. I presumed I had to do this Via our agent for some reason Soooo, chancing it I phoned Celebrity themselves about the $500 and they gave it me! I nearly fell off my chair! Planet Cruise said no chance.

Thanks for the tip with the $$$ excited

Hi Becky, Celebrity have a sale on their excursions, if you were planning on using your obc for that it might be worth checking it out, I’ve just done all ours and they’d come down by around £20pp that’s a fair saving, just to be aware it doesn’t say anywhere that they’re reduced, I found out from cruise critic and took a look, I’d made a note of the prices of the ones we we’re interested in hence how I know how much they’ve been reduced x
