Another ESTA Question

Hi, IO am looking to sort out ESTA's for my wife & myself.

Would this be two individual applications or a group one?

Thanks in advance.

A "group" ESTA still means that you have to fill in the individual applications but allows you to pay for them all in one go.

It doesn't matter either way. A group application is just a way of applying for 2 or more at the same time and make just one payment at the end of the process.

Each ESTA is totally independent and linked to specific passports.

So do a group of two and pay $28 or two individual ones and pay $14 each time.

No right or wrong.

Only difference we noticed was a group application seemed to take longer to be approved.

We've had live ESTAs since they were introduced in Jan 2009 so maybe 5 or 6 each. All but one we've done as individuals and approved instantly. One done as a group (don't know why ) and it came back pending

From what I've read on here over the past year or so I think very few are now approved instantly and most seem to have to log back on again.

I also see that the ESTA site has been improved recently
