Excuse my density Stanley having not read the whole thread but why are folk asking you to check seat availability on their flights?
Can they not do a dummy booking and see seat availability? |

Hello JayPR - in answer to your question yes Dibbers can do their own dummy bookings and see availability - some do. However, if they want to check say a 747 which can have 4 different cabins they have to do 4 dummy bookings to look at possibilities of how busy a flight can be/possibility of upgrade availability/which seats are taken etc - lots of different choices which can take time so we can help narrow that down with our help. A dummy booking situation doesn't show availability of the various fare buckets used by airlines on each flight which gives a feel of how likely it is that the flight will be busy/quiet etc and many people don't know how to interpret and read these figures correctly.
This particular thread is a continuation at least 2 previous ones to which Jodash used to make a huge contribution - once a thread gets too long we request our admins close it down and start a new one to replace it. It's reallly popular amonst Dibbers and hopefully those who put in a request find it useful. We are lucky to have a group of members who help out on a regular basis - aldojani, thatdavieguy, fredflinstone (and myself) and their contribution is much appreciated especially as some websites are ones we subscribe to and as a bonus we can use them to help the DIBB. Hope that provides some answers for you Edited at 03:13 PM. |

No problem - here goes
BA 2167 All cabins Wide Open and at this date/time BA still selling all fare buckets. BA 2039 All cabins Wide Open and at this date/time BA still selling all fare buckets. So at this stage both flights look quiet but again with 7 months before travel I would expect this to change. Hope that helps you make up your mind for booking your holiday. |

Bit of a random question. All the Economy seats on my Virgin flight out of Gatwick on August 20th are not available. Would they all be completely booked up by now do you think?
