Hi, we arrived yesterday, did our estas in July with no middles names and sailed through immigration, never been as quick 15 mins from getting off plane to going through.

The middle name requirement didn’t come into force on new ESTAs until October.

I read Oct too PPM, others say they can't definitively find out, asking the TSA returns a standard 'need middle names' reply. Guess time will tell.

Brexit won’t have any effect on ESTAs

Actually, it doesn't. What it says is Given names (plural)

A new ESTA will automatically cancel an existing one, it prompted me by asking if I was sure that I wanted to do this (had done a new one but failed to enter all names given like on passport so did a new one the next day).

Yeah, re did ours this morning, if did say right at the end when I had to re enter the passport number that it was already approved and if I wanted to submit a new application, Just waiting for the approval email. Not worth the stress and uncertainty to not redo them for the sake of £40.

It says given names on this picture, not first given name like it says on the ESTA site. That is where my confusion came as my first given name is not my first name and middle name.
