Flight price increas clisevto departure?

Hi I’m not sure if anyone knows but fingers crossed. Do all the airlines put the flights prices up month before departure? My husband has been unwell this year and had two heart attacks and had a lot of time off work so we have reduced our honeymoon to two weeks making payments just about manageable to pay off Disney by 31st July which is the deadline so payday in August will be when we can book flights. Currently prices are £962 ish with all airlines but if I search same airlines for flights next month they are 1,654 ish. I hope someone can help

Sorry to hear of your husbands health problems, hope hes on the road to recovery now.Charter airlines tend to get cheaper last minute (within 6 to 8 weeks of flying),we have had some good deals with tui.

Travelling in September I wouldn’t want to pay any more than £400 per person. There are always cheap flights once the school summer hols are done.

It will vary. Certain advance purchase fares on legacy carriers such as BA and Virgin will disappear at 28 days prior (or sometimes at other fixed days before travel), but depending on loads, airlines may still make cheap fares available last minute.

Have you ensured you have travel insurance? With yiur husbands illnesses, best to get it covered
