ESTA - Telephone numbers

Just a quick question...

In respect of telephone numbers required as part of the ESTA application, which is your phone number and in addition your contact number in the US (CSR in our case), is there a special format..ie

No spaces?

Drop the 0 on yr mobile?

Put brackets in (Florida dialling code) for the Hotel number?

Just dont want to get stuck when doing the applications, and probably over thinking!

For your mobile you’ll need to drop the 0 as it makes you select country code !
For the point of contact I just entered the numbers without spaces and again it makes you choose a country code. It did come up as an invalid number though so maybe you should put the dashes ... either way it wasn’t an issue and it was approved within a few hours yesterday!

So the mobile is 44xyz without the 0 .?

The resort is 44407xyz ( as 407 is the florida code) ?

Just want to drill it down

Or you can put 000000 if you don’t know, or have, a phone number.

Your UK mobile is 44********* without the first zero.

Any US numbers like the resort etc would just be as they are, 407 ******* etc

I have never put in any us contact details, its always unknown or all the zeros. It makes no difference.

If i know where I am staying and know the phone number, my general instinct is to record it like any other information requested.
