The One With No Rest Days. Pre Trip Report. The Introductions

(The first three entries of this were written before posting as I pretty much did this for myself, but decided to share later on!)

The Introductions (Written 3rd August 2019)

I’m Steph, I’m 31 years old (Will be 32 when we travel), my partner is Radu (35 when we travel) and we are from the Wirral.
I have been to Orlando in 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2014. Radu has never been.
This trip has been a long time coming! I haven’t stopped talking about Florida since we met two and a half years ago, and finally I get to take him after we headed down to London to get a visa for him as he isn’t British. The only rides Radu has been on are at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and a travelling fair we found in Germany! He LOVES adrenaline and big rides so I cannot wait to see his face every day in Orlando. Radu is the most fun person I have ever met, and I can’t wait to spend every day with him laughing until our faces hurt.
Florida is my absolute happy place for so many reasons. The last trip with my parents in 2000 was a few years before I developed a chronic health condition that would end up ruling my life at times. That last trip is one of the last memories of being entirely healthy and having nothing to worry about, just fun times with my family. I visited again in 2014 with an ex-partner. Sadly it wasn’t the dream trip for many reasons, and I cannot wait to go back and really do it right. I love Disney, especially the classics, and the sight of the Castle literally makes my heart hurt.
We are travelling just us, no children, and we will be documenting everything. And I mean, everything. More about that in the next instalment!
