VIPcars.com

Anyone have any recent experience with VIPcars.com.
Prices seem really competitive and insurance appears all good with zero excess.

Ive booked with them for next year, you get your car hire reference no within minutes and it all shows as booked on the hirers website. They are also good on there cancellation policy, our price dropped £60 is so cancelled and rebooked and the original fee was refunded.

They seem to have good reviews on trust sites too.

The prices seem really good and they are coming out cheaper than anyone else for my dates. However I've never heard of them. I looked on TripAdvisor and there's a lot of negative comments about them. Has anyone hired a car with them i.e. their rental period has finished?

Me again,

I decided to email national (booked via vipcars) to ensure that my upcoming rental did indeed have all insurances etc included, this is there reply

"Dear Mr. xxxx,

Thank you for choosing National for your car rental needs! My name is Tony. I will be happy to help you today.

I did some research and your reservation does include coverage for the vehicle (CDW) and Liability. When you arrive at the branch counter, a deposit will be held on your credit card. The deposit amount is the estimated cost of your rental, deposit funds held will be released when the vehicle is returned.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance. Have a wonderful day! We appreciate your business.

Reference Reservation #: xxxxxx

Sincerely,

Tony

So it does look like vipcars are legit to me.
