Alamo or Avis?
Due to the TC fiasco and resort parking fees we decided to go without a car next year and now looking to book flights with BA.
We still need a car for a day, maybe two, for Busch Gardens and Howl-o-scream but have always used Alamo previously. If I book the car with BA it's with Avis and from the Lake Buena Vista pickup, slightly cheaper too. If I book separately with Alamo it's the car care centre and what I know. What's the consensus on which to book? Can you get to both pickups without extra cost etc? Does Avis include the same insurance as Alamo? We're talking about £20 difference here so not a huge issue but I know nothing about Avis. |

Both are fully insured and nothing between them really. There are 2 Avis places on WDW property and there are 3 Alamo place. Maybe 4.
If it was me I would save the £20 and go with the cheapest.

Just the man!
Unfortunately through BA you can only pick the one pick up spot, the rest are at Universal or MCO etc. Is the Lake Buena Vista one easy enough to get to? |

Very easy, it's on Hotel Plaza Boulevard so a short walk from Disney Springs.
Of course your easiest option is Alamo at the Car Care Centre by the MK and get them to pick you up free of charge from your Disney Resort or a Disney Park.

Looks pretty easy from Google Maps, bus to DS then a wander over the walkways. Saves messing around with it all under the same booking too.
Thanks for the help. |
