I've used business class on AA, Air Canada, BA, Aer Lingus and VA. I go for whoever has the cheapest flight at the time.
Aer Lingus was my least favourite for journey time and the feeling of disappearing into a coffin when you lay down but lots of space. It's a really long day, both ways. Air Canada and AA very similar style of seat to each other, really spacious, lots of small storage areas, privacy and both did immigration before Orlando so a huge plus (Toronto/Dublin). However AC used smaller Rouge planes (cramped even in PE) after Toronto but AA have been a mixture of first or continued in business after changing plane at PHL. When using AA I would then return via BA and skip the leg back to Dublin. I always fly to Dublin the night before on AA. BA is far too cramped for me. My arm is constantly getting knocked when I have an aisle seat. I'm also worried about having to step over somebody so have never travelled backwards but worry it may be a bit claustrophobic. I love the spacious cabin of VA but there isn't as much area around you as on AA/AC. However the thing that does it for me with VA is the lounge. Spa treatments and lovely food! Sorry for burbling, I hope that's not too much waffle!

Hi Linda, never flown BA Club, and whilst we'd price consider, flying into LHR or LGW is a no-no, at a push we'll fly out, but I'll chew my arm off afore flying into any London airport again.

Sorry Minx, not suggesting LHR/LGW don't work for others arriving into the UK, it's our personal choice, waiting around for a Toon flight used to have us sickly, hence we haven't flown into LGW/LHR since 2010
