From someone who has only visited all three and not stayed at any I would definitely go for YC or BC and not Boardwalk. They are all very close by to one another and its a very pleasant stroll from one side of the lake to the other. You can walk to DHS and Epcot from all three. The deciding point for me would be (what looks like) the great pool at YC/BC.

I e stayed at all three and have the opposite opinion.
I love the BC/YC and if Stormalong Bay is important it's a big consideration , but it's always quite busy in both hotels and BWI by comparison is an oasis of calm . It's a bit more grown up but your kids are old enough to appreciate that . We saw far fewer small kids at BW and heard no noise for the Boardwalk itself. The staff were even better than at the BC. So for me if you have smaller children BC but mid late teens BW is a definite contender |

We've stayed at all 3 resorts. The Boardwalk is my least favourite. I just didn't like the theming - it reminded me of Grandma's house! We had an amazing view overlooking Crescent Lake but it took us ages to actually get on the Boardwalk - massive long corridor. We much prefer Yacht or Beach but we're all different and like different things!

Having stayed at both DVC options the BW wins it for me. Yes the pool at the Y+B is great but long walk from the DVC section no sit down restaurant at either if you are looking at QS but there is options to grab food and sit out on the BW. Quite pool at the BW is just great as well as the members lounge. Can grab breakfast at the Belle vue lounge which is inside although not as big an option as the bakery. Better stop now before we have a mad rush to check it all out.

I would definitely pick YC over the BC as we are an all adult party and I didn't like the rather more hectic feeling in the BC public areas. Getting picked up first on the buses would also be a plus over the BC, there were always very large queues there. I liked my balcony in the end, but I hadn't really thought about it beforehand.
If YC and Boardwalk were both available and similar prices, I would probably go for the Boardwalk and as much as anything for a change as I have not stayed there before. I was a bit worried whether there would be noise in the rooms at night from the Boardwalk though. |

I came back from Beach Club a week ago after spending 10 nights there. I was in a second floor room with a full balcony. I didn't request the balcony and only used it for drying my swimsuits. I never actually sat out on it. I think it's a lovely hotel, with a stunning lobby and beautiful, relaxing décor, I love the colour scheme. But as a hotel in itself I don’t think it’s worth the deluxe price tag – you’re paying for the Epcot location, not the actual hotel. I had a mooch around Yacht Club and thought the same about that and I didn’t like the YC lobby/decor. Last year I stayed at POFQ and preferred it to Beach Club. I’m returning to POFQ next year and can’t wait
