Avis App - never works

I have car booked with Avis through BA

Whe I search for my booking on Avis app putting in all the 3 details

Surname, email and booking number it always comes back with the message. Can’t do this right now , try again later.

Yet on the official website these details work fine

Any ideas what is wrong

There was a recent update to the app.

I had to reinstall whilst standing in the TPA baggage hall a few weeks ago.

An update might help

Android or Apple?
I've had problems in the past but all was corrected via a few updates they pushed out.
Just noticed (Android) got an error message when loading app, but my past and next year booking can be seen.

Your BA booking reference wont work, if you go onto your car hire voucher that you can download from the BA site there's a reference there that should work.

Also, sign up for Avis preferred and ask BA to attach your Avis Preferred number to your Avis booking.

We're also having this issue too, can see our booking on the website but nothing on the app. I've used the voucher reference, email & surname but no such luck, did you sort it?

mine showed straight away just about for next august did you add your avis number in when you booked if not email avis as they did it for me the first time
