Stopover hotels near Calais

DW and I have used EuroTunnel for our last few crossings, on a couple of occasions staying close by here in England before getting an early crossing the next morning.
The last time we went, however, we discussed using the crossing in the evening, staying somewhere close to the port in France and then starting our journey from there the following morning. We would both find it easier to carry on a little longer in the evening and have an extra hour or two in bed in the morning.

I have seen people mention the Ibis/Novotel near Cite Europe but DW loves the sea and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a hotel close to the seafront so she could get her fix in the morning before we set off.

Any help gratefully received

TIA

David

There are a few chamber d'hotes dotted along the coast between sangatte/wissant/wimereux and down to Boulogne or if memory serves me a decent Novotel or Holiday inn just off the beach in Le Touquet

We usually use the Eurotunnel, but cross in the late afternoon and head straight down towards Paris. Then we stay in a B&B (the cheaper one at Marne-la-Vallee) so we can make the most of our first day in the parks the next day. (We then stay on-site, so we check-in first thing in the morning to get our park tickets and head straight for the parks.)
