Hi,
What month is this for and what site did you see this on. That is way cheaper than I have seen for July.

Thanks

Prices are always higher when you're looking for a date that's a good 8 months + away, the prices do settle as time moves on.

It's a case of booking something now that you can amend or cancel for free - like Andy @ DFCH so that you can keep an eye on prices and have the flexibility to get the price that's right for you.

I don't think this is the case as I have been booking this far out for three decades now. Booking this early has always paid off until last year where the prices seemed to get a bit cheaper later on.
I have never seen anything like this year before. Not even close.

But I agree - book something now that can be cancelled and keep an eye on prices. DFCH prices are just insane at the minute (£2800 for what I booked at under £1400). Last year we ended up swapping Virgin to DFCH - and will do the same if they come down. The cost for the same thing last year was £740.

DFCH as per above..

Not to take potential business away from DFCH.. but we used HappyToursUSA for our trip in March and could cancel FOC right up until 7 days before and only made payment once car was handed back. Plus we could still fully utilize the straight to car option etc..

Sorry to jump on but what is the average price for hiring suv for 2weeks in July? We are going next year and looking at prices and it’s coming in at £720+ which I’m thinking it’s really expensive?

Thank you for replying! Every time I’ve checked it’s still at the £700+ mark with Alamo, that’s on the uk Alamo, is the Us Alamo working out cheaper?
