Sad update: Benny's gone and now a humpback

A humpback back whale has been seen in thames today. It was Benny the beluga whale last year and now this new arrival.

I wonder if they are trying to tell us something (possibly look after our wildlife)?

It's been seen either side of the Dartford crossing.

I vote to call him Humphrey. Assuming it is a he?

Perhaps he's* trying to tell us, "Erm excuse me, but the sea out there is full of rubbish. Could you do something about it?"

Either that or "So long and thanks for all the fish!"

(*or "she's" - delete as appropriate)

Trouble is Nimbus pretty much all bodies of water are full of billions of tons of garbage and plastic. We take ma/pa to Noses Point/Seaham Harbour and everytime there is so much thrown away rubbish of the like I've never seen in my life - so many Brits have lost pride in themselves and the easy task of keeping our country tidy. I clear up as much as I can but it's quite depressing to see beauty spots riddled with rubbish.

Last time we crossed that poxy bridge we were stuck on it for an hour, I wish we'd had something interesting to look at!

( I normally love that bridge but it's one of the reasons we stay overnight in Gatwick).

I can't divulge that info at the moment because good poetry requires the element of surprise.

Me too ! Ridiculous for a journey that should take just over an hour but I really couldn’t risk it.
