Hire car advice

Booked a hire car with Andy at dfch but have just been informed our flight from Gatwick with virgin has been cancelled and we are going out on the later flight which arrives in Florida 3 hours later do I need to alter my Alamo car hire booking or is it ok to leave it how it is.

I'd say just leave it alone. In terms of car hire from MCO a 3 hour change is insignificant. MCO handles over 800 flights a day so the staff are used to delays in arrivals and at worst it could take 2 hours to get through immigration anyway - or 15 minutes as it depends on international flights ahead of you.

What really matters is the time you drive out of the barrier. Drive out at 16.00 get it back by 15.59 although Alamo do allow you 29 minutes grace.

PS Hopefully you've done OLCI with Andy allowing you to skip the terminal desk and go straight to the garage?

I sent Andy a message re a similar problem and he replied not to bother as the rental will begin from when we arrive.
