Automated Photopass Useless at Darth Vader Meet & Greet

Just got back to villa and checked my photos and after waiting 40 minutes for a meet and greet photo op with Darth Vader the automated booth has only taken one photo of us and Darth Vader isn't even in the picture ! So fed up. He was one character we had never met before, fortunately we will have a chance to go back but feel so sorry for those who won't get that chance

Please go and complain about this! The more people that complain the more likely they are to get rid of these stupid boxes!

Ours took a couple of days to show up so it may be that more will appear. If not I would definitely complain.

I wish I could see it, to see what it looks like. Could you post up, maybe with faces blurred if you don’t want to be recognised?

Hopefully by now you've checked and more photos have appeared but if not I agree go complain! That is awful and maybe they will allow you to retake. I know on my FP quite a few of the photos took a couple of hours to appear and I'd have one showing for the location then more jumped in later (no clue why). I didn't have any automatic though so not sure whether this works the same. Let us know!

Please do complain to guest services. It's not good enough that they're offering an expensive photo service with sub par photos.

If you did only get one photo and DV didn't appear in it then by all means complain. Even an automated camera should've got a half decent photo. Your experience does seem really poor.

BTW, I thought you had to scan your band/ticket afterwards at a kiosk where it showed the photos taken? The following link shows the kiosks:

Did you not see that you only had one badly-taken photo on there? If so, you could've complained straight away.

Our ones with Kylo Ren were awful - a character dressed in black, against a black background was never going to be an easy one to photograph but you could hardly see him!

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all your posts. Have checked again this morning and just one photo of DH and I against the dark background and no Darth Vader. I did scan my band as we left with a cast members help they assisted us out the door etc as we are both on scooters, didn't realise the photos showed up on the scanning booth.

We also used the automated booth for Chewbacca pictures and they have come out fine.

It's a real shame as Darth Vader was quite animated with us and now we have no record of it.

Thing is an actual photographer would have realised there was a problem while the automated one doesn't. I will go to guest services and let them know.
