Plus, if they really intended to bring it back next year, its hard to see why they released park reservations for October onward next year.
They’re selling park hopping tickets though. I think they’re just hedging their bets with the reservations.

Once things have calmed down over there, I can't see why they wouldn't bring park hopping back.
The ability for guests to jump from park to park on any given day, is a revenue stream & that's all that Disney are bothered about in normal times.

I have never park hopped. So these changes won't bother me. I do a spreadsheet and tend to stick to that. I will still go. I am not a 9am-9pm park goer. I want fun but also to relax in my villa pool as that costs as much as the tickets lol. I love the parks but I love watching my LO splash about.

Awful lot of planning that goes into a Disney holiday already. They add more and more and nothing is ever taken away. Found booking ADR and fast pass stressful enough! Universal is looking more appealing

Yes it is

As the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort continues, we are nearing another exciting milestone we know many guests have been looking forward to: the return of the Park Hopper option! Starting Jan. 1, 2021, guests who purchased a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day, with some new modifications as part of our ongoing focus on health and safety.

With the updated Park Hopper experience, guests must make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan to visit AND enter that first park prior to visiting another. At this time, a park reservation is not required after the first park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change.

Additionally, we will set specific Park Hopper hours during which this option will be available. Park Hopper hours will start at 2 p.m. each day and end at the park’s scheduled close time. Guests will soon be able to check DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours, as they could start earlier at a later date, depending on the day and park.

Park hopping is back, some rides have already taken the plexiglass dividers off because they have high backs and are loading up these up to max capacity.

Just want to remind everyone Disney Genie app is coming soon. An app that will plan your day at the park based on your answers. It will optimise your plan based on real time peaks, essentially telling you where to go next.

Disney are becoming Buy n Large. We'll all be on scooters, wearing red soon enough 🤣

Adam the Woo video is very good on park hopping and they started to put out the fast pass booths again so maybe they coming back on a day to day basic for starters.

I have usually took a two week holiday in Orlando, with a five day pass, and Disneyland was fitted in amongst other outings, so same for me, I would have to think whether I want to pre book days to visit, sadly.
