LEGOLAND Windsor on Monday - any tips for first timers?
We bought tickets during their Black Friday sale at £15 each. Realise now that many attractions are closed. We are determined to make the most of it though. Kids are 12, 10, 7 & 6. Older two are good sports and will indulge the others so whilst all four are thrill seekers, we understand that these rides will be different!
But we’ve never been before and would be very grateful for some tips. Anything really popular we should go to early doors? Read somwehere to head for back of park first thing to Dragon but that’s on a closure by the looks of it. Also, is it worth paying for premium parking? Opens at 10 so aiming to be in the car park for 9am to get to gates for 9.30. Really appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Hi there, I would advise you to get there early, so that once you are through the turnstiles, you can make toilet stops, get a coffee etc. Popular rides are the Dragon, also the Ninjago rise is very popular. Slower loading rides take time like boating school so if quiet then a good one to try. Driving school takes a lot of kids in one go. I live locally but haven’t been for a couple of years. We have never paid for premium parking as unless anyone in your party has mobility issues, I wouldn’t pay.

Thank you very much. As you are local, do you have any restaurant recommendations for before we head home?

We live 15 mins from Legoland and have been going for 16 years 🤣. Which way will you be travelling back to and what food do you like?

We live in Warfield, about 15 mins away from Lego. Bracknell isn't really on your way home but the town centre has all the big food restaurants like Prezzo and Zizzi which if you sign up to their email give generous discount. Not far from the town is The Boot it was a pub but is now an Italian restaurant, DW and our youngest ate there last week and said it was really good.

Hi, there is a couple of pubs in Windsor where I live which are family pubs. The Alma, and also the Prince Albert, both do good food. Prince Albert is on the same road as Legoland, exit legoland, turn left at the roundabout and it’s at the traffic lights, has a car park at the back.

Also Harvester (called the Windsor Lad). It’s next door to Windsor racecourse so won’t take you out of the way. Town centre has plenty of restaurants, but unless you book you may have to wait if going at busy times.
