Refund from hotels.com with clubcard vouchers

Hi, now TUI have cancelled their flights, it means I need to start cancelling other things. We booked 2 nights at Universal with hotels.com using clubcard vouchers towards it. Does anyone know how I can claim the money back?

I part paid our HRH booking with cash and club card vouchers. Cancelled with hotels.com online, got refund to my card. Then emailed tesco and they refunded my points back very quickly. Hope this helps

There’s more information in this thread here https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1175070

When this all started Clubcard points were being returned however Hotels.com are now only issuing a voucher for the Clubcard portion of your booking. I was told this by Clubcard a couple of weeks ago however I first contacted them more than a month ago before this changed and I am still pushing to get my points returned.

I cancelled my RPR stay earlier today and it was very straightforward.

I started with their virtual chat, asked to be connected to an agent who went away to check and came back to say that the taxes part of my booking will be refunded to my card and I will be sent a voucher for the Clubcard part of my booking within 30 days.

I cancelled our booking last month. Got the cash refund within a few days, but am still chasing the Tesco voucher amount (£315). Did online chat with hotels.com today who said the voucher has to come from Tesco and not them. Been back in touch with Tesco who are still trying to resolve, and advised to get back in touch if not heard anything within a month of cancelling (which is Monday). It’s frustrating as I want to book another hotel, but want the vouchers to use.

This is the predicament I can see myself being in. I just want the money and voucher back so I can re-book and give them the money back

We are in the same boat.

Tesco are washing their hands of it...to the point where they claim we are the only people they have heard from that are having any problems...

... and Hotels.com keep telling us different things. The most common is that the voucher will be issued by them 30 days after the scheduled stay was due to be completed. This is despite them already providing the small cash portion of the refund and it was THEM that cancelled the reservations!

Why on earth should we have to wait until 30 days after the stay for the vouchers in these circumstances.

Any news on this? I got my cash part back from hotels.com very quickly. About a week.

But not heard anything about the clubcard voucher end. Do I need to contact hotels.com or did anyone get the voucher automatically?

Still being told that I have to wait until 30 dats after my stay and it will be a hotels.com new voucher code. So if I want to rebook in the meantime I have to pay full price or wait until October to book. They said you can use the voucher until Dec 21 for stats until Dec 22.

I’m still waiting on Tesco. Spoke to them last week, and said they had escalated it, but still not heard anything. I’m not holding out much hope in getting the vouchers back.
