16 days what do you think

Was looking at accomodation for a stay in sept 21 for 16 nights

2 nights boardwalk (dvc rental)
12 nights cabanna bay ( booked with universal)
2 nights old key west ( dvc rental)

£1640

Seems good deal when pop century would be £2285 for same time.

Looks great - bonus with those DVC rentals is you don't pay resort parking and you don't pay parking in the parks. A significant saving.

DVC is not risk free in the current climate (it’s never risk free but COVID unpredictability makes it more probable!) so you should factor that into decision making. If you can cover that risk with insurance it’s always going to be better than the hotel cost.

There may be a tiny element of work over and above booking hotels but IMO it’s not worth worrying about given the savings.

Beginning to think the 4 days at dvc may be to much of a risk as once booked and paid for doesn't give me any flexibility in cancelling if needed.
I think i may go for 16 days at universal hotels as I can cancel right up to day of arrival.
With all the lay offs to cast members at disney, reduced operating hours, shows and fireworks. I may skip Disney altogether and use the money for park tickets on car hire for days out.
