Hi it’s a hard choice, what is it you want from your accommodation. There are 5/6 hotels with 4000 plus rooms, or do you want space, if so go for something like signature suits at the mgm which are great. These can be booked with hotel or via Airbnb or home away which can be Considerably cheaper

I agree signature suites were great for space (we had a one bedroom) but we felt the walk to the strip got a bit much .
We prefer to be able to walk straight out of the hotel in to the action ,so to speak .

Walking through MGM, I totally agree! That long walk all the way through the hotel and then the walk North (my least favourite part of the main strip!) to get to the next cross section felt interminable! We almost always left by the car entrance, crossed the road and went in the side entrance of Miracle Mile - we felt that was a big time saver!

We decided to book our flights this week and add our Vegas and LA hotels on to make a package as in the current climate we preferred to pay deposit only. The best deal we could get was the Venetian as they were offering 25% off so though I was determined I was going to rebook ceasars palace after not being able to go stay there this year the price won out in the end! We got direct flights to Vegas on Aug 18th, return from LA on sept 4th, 4 nights in a 2 queen suite at the Venetian and 3 nights at the Hilton universal LA for £960pp.

We’ve stayed at Bally’s and New York,New York, although the latter was lovely Bally’s was in a much better position, we were in the tower and had a great view of the Bellagio fountains and the Strip - would recommend 👍😁

Been lots of times since 1989 and stayed in lots of casinos of varying quality, some not with us anymore. The best by far IMHO is the Wynn/Encore. Going back to the Wynn next year for my 60th virus permitting.
