Brighton

Hopefully going to Brighton for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. I’ve made a quick list of the things we’d like to see\do, is there anything more anyone can add (we’re a party of three, 2 adults and one 12 year old boy).

The Lanes
Brighton Pier
BA i360
Royal Pavillion
Volk’s railway
Artbox Cafe (Gudetama themed)

Churchill Square shopping mall, as well as the Lanes walk through to what is now known as the north lanes which is full of unique shops and cafes, my favourite restaurant is Cotes Brasserie which is at the bottom of Church Street near the Royal Pavillion.

As a point of order: it's North Laine, not North Lanes!

(You can tell the locals by those who get this right and wrong!)

If you like Mexican food, we went to a lovely restaurant, Dos Sombreros. I highly recommend it

When you go to the Pavillion there is a museum as well which is really interesting. Don’t forget to get some doughnuts when on the pier and eat them hot! So yummy! Us locals go to the pier just for the doughnuts,

Those donuts are the very best ever - a trip to Brighton isnt complete For me without having them

Terre a Terre is the best vegetarian restaurant in UK and well worth a visit (if you can manage to get a table) for even harden meat eaters it’s totally amazing and different

I'm a veggie and I often take slightly cynical meat-eaters there for dinner and not one hasn't been absolutely blown away by their meal.

Brighton is an absolute haven for us veggie weirdos.

Some other (local, independent) food options I'd recommend:

Ice Cream: Gelato Gusto (one in North Laine and one on the beach) - gelatogusto
Fish & Chips: Bankers - bankersfishandchips or Bardsleys - bardsleys-fishandchips
Burgers: Burger Brothers - facebook/burgerbrothersbrighton
Mexican: La Choza - lachoza
Bagels: Bagelman - bagelman
