My daughter has asked for some jigsaws for Christmas.
I had wondered about buying one of the roll up mats to store them because I don’t want to lose my dining table all over Christmas. Would you keen jigsaw puzzlers recommend them ?
OP hope you don’t mind me asking on your thread.

I've always thought about those roll mats but I use a huge piece of hardboard instead, it slides under our sofa.

Yes I could just do that couldn’t I. We do like jigsaws and I never thought of just putting it under the sofa. I think we will need plenty to do over this Christmas !

I love my jigsaws and have got case to do them in. Handy because it has 2 removable
Pieces to lay the spares in which all pack away in a zipped case. Love the Ravensburger range, just recently discov ered Huadada range on Amazon, very good and cheaper!

It works really well for us, the shiny side make it slide easily. The board fits the coffee table so we can all have a go.

Just checked, I've got 12 Christmas puzzles. Next up will be a Gibson one and the other brand I like are Hop.

Your welcome!

Overheard an interesting conversation at my local Toymaster Toy Shop recently. He said that he received a huge stock of jigsaws from his suppliers because they didn't want to restock Garden Centres this year. Apparently the suppliers didn't like the way the GCs upped their prices during lockdown!
I could spend a huge amount of money in my local Toyshop 😍

I love jigsaws and seeing yours, might treat myself to a Christmassy one!

I'm also pleased to see the return of the xmas movie channels!

Go for it and enjoy!

Yes, if I can, then I like put a Christmas film on too while puzzling. With the next one, I'd love to listen to Driving Home for Christmas but it's a bit too early for the music... 😃
