The show time varies depending on the time of year, and there are sometimes 2 shows. Whenever we've been it's tended to be around 8-8.30pm. The fantasmic package isn't really designed for you to eat and then go in to the show. It's hard to get evening reservations, so we normally have a late lunch then spend the rest of the day in the park before grabbing some snacks and going to the show.

Yes certainly looks that way, I found I could only get something in the afternoon and a bit too close to my ADR for Beaches and Cream lunch that I had already booked. We decided to try and fast pass Fantasmic instead.
