My DH and I are not really formal dining people. Best I can get my DH into is a suit and then its a fight to get him to wear a tie LOL. So if we wanted to skip the formal night dinners are we able to eat elsewhere?
How much do they charge for room service? I seen that you can get complimentary breakfast so what about dinner?

You most certainly can eat elsewhere.. Topsiders do a very informal dinner menu. It was lovely when we ate there. You don't need to dress up with suit & tie.
Room service is free, you just tip the waiter.. We usually tip $2-4 depending on what we order There is a room service menu in your cabin.. there is plenty to choose from.

Mmmmh, room service chicken wings!
I wonder how many portions of those i could get through in 2 weeks? I quite fancy trying dinner at Topsiders, but worry about missing out in the main dining rooms! Edited at 11:43 AM. |

Ooh! I didnt know southen flys to barca! That's exciting! We're only about 40 mins away. Have you flown from there before? I amigaine it's really easy?
It's never too late! I thought formal night attire was optional? Room service sounds amazing, from what I've read, you just need to tip the person who brings it, right? I'm so excited today - I think we'll be booking later! Just need to talk it over with my mum (the experienced cruiser/cabin chooser in the family) but to be honest my mind's pretty much made up. But I don't want to leave her out. Who knows, maybe my mum and dad could even be coming along! |
