FairFX on cruise?

Hello,

Im way off this trip but im pretty excited! Am thinking about spends and how i'd like to put them somewhere seperate cause i'll spend it if i have it in my accounts lol! SO was thinking can i put some money here and there on a fairfx card and then use that as the charge card for the cruise for alcoholic drinks and extras that we do?

Also anyone been on a 14 day cruise before? could you give me an idea of how much you'd think we would need? Theres only the two of us, we'd probably do a couple of trips to the spa but not treatments, maybe one port excursion and we aren't massive drinkers but will have approx 3-4 drinks a day usually cocktail of the day

Also i know we'll need euros for the spaina dn tennerife but does the st kitts, puerto rico ports etc take US dollars?

Your Fairfx card is accepted on DCL.. we have used ours in the past to settle our account. You don't need to carry and cash or cards whilst onboard, you use your room key to charge everything too.

Also people are different, you will have to do a rough calculation on what you are going to spend - on the WBTA 2011 we never did spa's, but we did buy souvenirs and have a few drinks, we did Palo brunch and managed to rack up quite a bill not as much as others though

I believe the ports you mention will accept USD's

So probably $1000 should be enough, base on $50 a day for the two of you plus a bit for spa etc.
Add on a bit more for the excursions you want.

We'll be using our FairFX cards, I might load a separate one just for the cruise, really want a double spa villa ... not a big drinker thankfully and will take some of our own onboard.
