Discounts on discounts?
So a shop has 30% off all 'red labelled' items, you then have a coupon that says '25% off over $250', and then you are over 50 and it's a Tuesday so you get 10% off.
Do they apply all the discounts? |

Quite often discount vouchers etc state 'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer' or similar words - I guess it will depend on the terms and conditions of each of the offers.

I think Americans like their double discounts (thanks to US sitcoms) so have a feeling it may be valid.

It will depend on each store policy

The over 50 or senior rate is usually always honoured on the specific day it is offered irrespective of other discounts. A lot of stores may show 50% off and take another 15% or 20% of the discounted price etc to be deducted at the checkout. So yes many but not all will but there will be a disclaimer if it is not to be used with other offers.

Hiya,
Have found it very shop specific trying to use coupons with other offers, some will allow and others won't, like other posters have said, it will say on most coupons not valid with any other offers. Nick |

Ralph Lauren has 20% off a $250 shop on our last trip applied automatically at the till, we also had a 20% voucher which they then took off at the end in addition to the original discount, this also came off clearance items.

How does the over 50/seniors discount work, do you need to show anything? Do all shops offer it.
thanks |

I need to know this too! In my experience, most coupons and added to the original discounts, making great savings.
If I don't have a coupon I usually ask at the till and they produce one from under the counter. I don't care how mean this makes me look! LOL.
