I know that the other parks are just as culpable, but I have always held Disney to a higher standard.
At the end of the day Disney are a business with shareholders who want a return on their money. This seems a fairly simple way to get some extra cash in - not saying I agree with it, but can see the logic.

Wouldn't surprise me if they start to tier the perks for onsite guests, so the better the class of Disney hotel, the more perks you receive, so pushing people to go for the higher end rooms.

Agreed. And I have always held Disney to a higher standard than this.

As long as there are people willing to pay this then Disney will continue to do things like this.

I don't think it's a secret that they are now targeting the upscale market or the whales.

I think they will cross a line eventually but until they find where that is they'll keep pushing.

Do your mean the Prince of Wales, or the aquatic mammal - if it's the latter, I didn't realise they were all quite so well off.

the thing is, is the preferred parking in MK actually quicker than normal parking and getting the tram, I read there is no tram at the preferred parking and you have to walk to the TTC, so for $15 more, you may get there after the normal folk
